OK, So I realize I'm behind the times... but I Wii released Super Metroid for the SNES the other day on Virtual Console. I don't know why, but I never played any of the Metroid games until the Prime versions on the gamecube. Those were pretty good but never really kept my interest.

SUPER METROID IS AMAZING! I like this game so much more as a side-scroller. Even the graphics, though 16 bit, are stylistically great! There is so much action and puzzle solving in this game it keeps you playing it for hours at a time. I would encourage anyone who likes to think and loves their action games to try this old game out. It really shows that graphics still do not take the place of great game design.

Bioshock Xbox 360 Demo is Amazing!

So I just played the Bioshock demo. I have to say. I think we are finally there. In about 20 min I felt so immersed in the world and intensity of "Rapture" that it took another 20 min for my heart to stop pounding. The demo opens with you in the water seconds after a plane wreck. For a minute I just watched, then I accidentally touch the controller and moved the camera. That's when I realized it wasn't rendered... I was already playing. Like I said we're pretty much there. Bioshock is being released Aug. 21st, that's this Tues... I might have to spend the $60. PLEASE DOWNLOAD THIS DEMO!

NETVIIBES IS THE JUNK!!!

This site may be old news to many of you but if you don’t know about it, you should definitely check it out. This is probably the best executed Web 2.0 site I have seen. It is basically a place to aggregate (MashUp) your entire online life. You can put modules of most popular web sites as well as actually create modules that display other sites (I am posting this through my NetVibes page with the IQ Blog embedded).

I also feel that this site should serve as inspiration for us as to the types of sites that users are beginning to expect and should server to help shape our view of the future of connected media.
